Deploying SmishAlert via MDM
How SmishAlert is rolled out across a managed iOS and Android fleet using Jamf, Addigy, Intune, or Android Enterprise.
SmishAlert ships native apps for iOS and Android, both MDM-deployable via Jamf, Addigy, Microsoft Intune, or any provider that supports iOS Message Filtering extensions and Android Enterprise. A 25–100-user pilot typically lands across an MDM-pushed deployment in a single week.
iOS
Push the SmishAlert app and configure the Message Filtering extension as the active SMS filter. In Workforce mode, network defer is engaged so unknown-sender SMS and iMessage are sent to SmishAlert for second-pass classification and campaign correlation. Managed configuration (for example API endpoints) can be pushed from your MDM; after policy changes, users may need to force-stop the app or reboot so new settings apply.
Android
Deploy the enterprise app via Android Enterprise / work profile. Employees report suspicious content via in-app reporting, the Share Sheet, and screenshot upload, all landing in the same Workforce dashboard and feeding the same campaign correlation. Unknown-sender auto-capture parity on Android tracks platform APIs.
Notice and consent
Workforce mode requires a managed-device deployment and employee notice consistent with your acceptable-use policy. Compliance mode additionally requires formal consent, supervisor disclosure, and works-council coordination where applicable. For procurement specifics, email support@smishalert.ai.
